Statistics is a branch of mathematics dealing with the collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation, and organization of data. In Class 9, we studied the collection, presentation, and graphical representation of ungrouped data. We also calculated the mean, median, and mode of ungrouped data. In this chapter, we extend our study of these three measures of central tendency (mean, median, and mode) to grouped data.
