This Parent Consent Notice explains what a parent or legal guardian authorises when creating or approving a child profile on SwaVid.

Consent must be specific, informed, freely given where required, and capable of withdrawal subject to legal and contractual retention requirements.

A parent or guardian may withdraw consent by contacting info@swavid.com. After withdrawal, SwaVid will stop processing the child personal data for consent-based purposes unless continued retention or processing is required by law, safety, dispute resolution, payment, fraud prevention, school contract, or legitimate service closure.

SwaVid may verify parent or guardian authority through account verification, phone or email OTP, payment verification, school confirmation, signed authorisation, identity or age confirmation, government-supported token, or another lawful verification mechanism appropriate to the risk and jurisdiction.

Consent records may include the consenting adult identity, contact details, child profile, date and time, consent text or version, method of verification, IP or device metadata where lawful, scope of consent, withdrawal status, and linked account records. Consent records are retained to prove lawful processing, resolve disputes, respond to regulators, and protect child safety.

Withdrawal of consent stops future consent-based processing. It may prevent SwaVid from providing personalised lessons, diagnostics, voice or chat history, parent reports, or school analytics for the child. Withdrawal does not automatically delete records that SwaVid must retain for tax, security, legal compliance, school contract, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or proof of consent.

Where withdrawal is requested through a school deployment, SwaVid may need to coordinate with the school before deleting or restricting student data because the school may be the legal controller or authorised educational institution for that data.

- ( a ) I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the student, or otherwise legally authorised to approve the student use of SwaVid.
- ( b ) I confirm that I am at least 18 years old.
- ( c ) I consent to SwaVid creating and operating a student profile for educational diagnostics, personalised tutoring, learning recommendations, reports, analytics, safety, and support.
- ( d ) I understand that SwaVid uses AI and educational analytics, and that important decisions should be reviewed by a parent, guardian, teacher, or qualified educator.
- ( e ) I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Children Privacy Notice.
- ( a ) Marketing or promotional messages to a parent or guardian.
- ( b ) Use of anonymised or aggregated learning data for product improvement where consent is required.
- ( c ) Storage of chat or voice learning history beyond what is required for the feature, safety, support, legal compliance, or account operation.
