CBSE’s official unit marks, the chapters in each unit and the paper design.

CBSE prints marks for units, not for individual chapters.

CBSE does not publish marks for individual chapters. A claim such as “one chapter carries 6 marks” is not from CBSE. Use the unit marks.

The marks are split over 4 units: World of Living 27, Matter - Its Nature and Behaviour 25, Motion, Force, Work and Sound 23 and Earth as a system 5.
