Short answer. CBSE released the 2026-27 sample question papers and marking schemes for Class 10 and Class 12 on 21 September 2026. Class 10 Maths has an official sample paper and a marking scheme, for both Standard (041) and Basic (241). The theory paper is 80 marks and 3 hours.

- For every lost mark, write the unit and one word: careless, or did not know.
- For each “did not know”, go back to that unit and check the idea before it. A wrong answer often starts earlier.
